LAPTOP DONOT TURN ON.

AC adaptor plugged in. Power sgnal is lit. But the battery sign is not lit as well as the power switch in lapton donot work.And i cannot turn on the computer.

is there any internal circuit problem. This is Compaq 1200 p.
Please any body suggest me a solution.
