I recently dropped my laptop but managed to salvage the HDD. I bought an enclosure and now I am trying to access my files via my PC. When I try to access ‘My Documents’ it tells me to bugger off…”Access Denied”.
I have googled the issue and found many similar problems on various tech threads, however the common solution seems to be to changing the security settings on the folder via properties. However I am using XP Home and as such I don’t see a security tab when I enter properties.
Does anyone have an idea as to how I can get access to this folder ?
