When AC power is plugged in my laptop will just power down – not normal shutdown – in other words it goes off like a light. It will not power up until several hours have passed. It does this whether internal battery (which is new) is installed, or not.
Some status lights stay on – ext power light, and one other that blinks.
Toshiba Satellite Pro – about 8 years old.
Maybe it’s time to bury it.
