So I decided to change my keyboard on my laptop, and some things went wrong, so I wanted to just use an external until I can get it fixed. The problem is I cannot boot my computer past the user screen because I have passwords on my accounts and windows xp sp2 will not recognize the external usb keyboard. It recognizes it for bios, and I have tried to enter in safe mode, but it won’t let me do that either. Any suggestions?
