Hi guys,
Strange one I have come across today. I boot the laptop to vista, however it comes up “configuring updates stage 3 of 3 0%” and stays at that point for a minute or so. However, after that minute it reboots again and goes in the loop. Safe mode is the same. I have ran chkdsk (with the parameters) and all the Dell restore programs inc system restore, nothing worked.
Is there a way of stopping the updates from installing from a command prompt (My only bootable option) so that I re-download the updates and hopefully sort the problem?
