Laptop Sata connector problem

By pfloyd ·
I may have a broken sata cable in my laptop. Either that or I am not attaching it correctly into the computer. The interface going into the computer is very small but the end going into the drive is normal sizes. Either way I cannot find a replacement connector on the internet to save my life nor has anyone blogged about this.
It looks connected but the drive is not recognized.

MPC T2500.
MPC went chap 11 and are not answering their phones.

You shouldn't be looking for a 'replacement connector' - you should be trying to find the correct hard drive.

Period.

You've got the wrong hard drive!

You could try

an IDE to Sata connector. Or you could purchase an external case and connect via USB.
