I have hooked my laptop to a flat screen, lcd tv. I can extend my desktop to the tv, but the color is skewed. It’s not black and white, but the tv has a greenish tint to it. I have tried multiple laptops and vga cables, but the outcome is the same, the tv still has the same green tint to it. When I used HDMI, the color is excellent.
Why does the screen have a green tint when I use the vga cables? I know the issue isn’t the video cards in the laptops or the vga cables, those possibilities are eliminated.
