Laptop touchpad taking over

Howdy all

My touch pad has decided it has a mind and will of its own. Nothing I do or have asked other computer savy friends in my life can figure this one out.

Have disabled the touchpad every spot you can think of and it still pops up and rules my life. If I use the mouse it double or eight clicks so I get 8 pages open of an email, 3 home pages… etc.

Needing help before I toss my new laptop
