I have a sony viao fx series laptop that I am worried I have a problem with. A few days ago I noticed that the power supply was getting a lot hotter than it has before, whether it is plugged in or running off the battery. If plugged in the power supply and the adapter get extremely hot; and if it is running off the battery, the power supply and the battery still get extremely hot. I did notice just before this started happening when I went to unplug it one day the plug had slipped parsially out of the wall socket. Has or is my power supply damaged? What should I do?
