Large fonts and outlook backgrounds

By LM&W ·
I have a user that has turned on large fonts in the display properties. when she receives an email whith a background and tries to reply, the reply text is interlaced with the original message and is dificult to read. If I remote desktop and try to duplicate the problem it works great

I saw this about 6 months ago on my mother-in-law's laptop. The oly fix I found for was setting messages suffeing from it to Plain Text. I never tried Remote Desktop and it was only one person sending messages like this so we didn't invest too much time on it.

You might try isolating why Large Fonts are needed. Sometimes lowering the resolution instead can work better, assuming they're upwards of 1024x768. Also, on my gaming rig I run 1600x1200 and, strangely, I had to set a custom DPI setting of 135% to make webpages not do this sometimes. If the issue's visual impairment then it's more difficult to tinker with this, of course.
