So, here I am at work, and we’ve got this sweet new Dell E4300 that I’m configging for an SVP. It’s got the new Latitude ON Reader, basically a Linux Shell that allows you to turn on the computer in a lower power mode and read your email, your calendar and contacts. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work with our drive encryption software which we’re required by the company to have on all laptops (good idea). When I install the encryption software (PGP Desktop 9.9) and try to boot it to the Linux shell for ON Reader, I get Error 17… very cryptic, doesn’t tell me a lot. Any ideas on what Error 17 means and how I can get the Linux shell to work with PGP encryption?
Thanks in advance for your help.
