Launcher -110 error

by steve98 . Updated 24 years ago

I keep receiving a Launcher -110 error on random iMacs after our lab is re-booted via Network Assistant 3.5.2. We’re also running OnGuard 3.3.1, Mac OS 8.6. OnGuard and possibly Network Assistant most likely has something to do with this error. Rebuilding the desktop temporarily fixes the problem, but the error always comes back on random machines. All of the OnGuard permissions for the Launcher, Launcher preferences, and Launcher startup items are set to are set to launch, open, and view. I’vealso tried setting them to the above rights, but included save and copy which did not work.

This is what -110 error in Apple Error Codes ’98 states:

Storage allocator error
-110 memAdrErr Address was odd, or out of range.

Does anyone know any more details about this error and how to fix it?
