our 2948G-L3 layer 3 cisco catalyst is broken. they said this equip. is discontinued. and the replacement is 2948G-GE-TX. I wanna know if this euip. is compatible replacing the old switch? and how can I configure this. The old switch has Gigabit link port. the new equip. has 4 ports but it doesnt say Gigabit? if this is compatible how can i configure this.. pls help?
