My Inspiron 6000 LCD goes blank typically a few minutes after boot up. Plugged into external monitor works fine. I have replaced the Inverter board and the LCD – no difference. Many times it will work fine on power for an hour or so, but the minute I unplug from power – goes blank (and by blank I mean a faint image on the screen). When I jiggle the power cord in and out it will often come back for a few minutes – but anytime the power cord is pulled out – immediately blank. Bettery is fully charged and fairly new.. Bad cable of some sort? Anyone have any ideas? Much appreciated…
