LCD Sleep Mode

by 1pataz . Updated 17 years, 5 months ago

I have a Hanns-G JW197D LCD. It looks and works great except when we turn the power off to the monitor and then try and turn it back on or it goes to sleep on it’s own. It says “No signal input check video cable”. We have to reboot the computer to get it to come back on.

I set the Windows Power Options Properties to never turn the monitor off and Hibernation is set to Never turn monitor off so it doesn’t go into sleep mode any longer but still will not come back on if we turn it of manually to save power.

This on a Dell Optiplex Gx240 running Win XP Pro SP2 with a 128MB Sapphire Radeon 9550 AGP graphics card. LCD is connected via HDMI.

Any assistance you can provide would be appreciated.
