LDAP Query for Expiring Passwords

By dixon_fe ·
I've had no luck with this one, so I figured that I would bring it here.

I am trying to set up an LDAP query for my AD saved queries to keep an eye on my service account expiration dates. The cognizant owners of applications do not keep track of upcoming expirations dates and it tends to cause great commotion, headache, etc., etc., etc.

I'm looking strictly for the query to display expiration dates only. If it could be set to "within the next 30 days" that would be excellent (but is not a requirement). A 3rd party resource is not an option at our location due to strict rules and regulations involved at our site.

Thanks in advance.

I saw this, but it will not work as a saved query within AD.

Yes, I did, and this was not the route I wanted to go.

Check here:

Makes me thing you can't use a saved query, you'd have to change the value every time you run it since it will be based on the date and your max password age

I agree lowlands, I don't think this query is possible. I had a co-worker open a case w/ MS, and they seemed baffled when we presented our request.
