I am trying to configure a new IT Help Desk system which uses LDAP.
Within Active Directory i have all Staff in an OU named Staff Users.
In the LDAP config page within the helpdesk i have entered the following into the LDAP root context field: OU=Staff Users, DC=alliancelearning,DC=com
is this correct?
Also, if i move one member of staff from “Staff Users” to the “Users” OU then change the LDAP root context field to:OU=Users, DC=alliancelearning,DC=com it works!?
Any help would be appreciated.
