Learing Linux on a laptop

by mc_user . Updated 21 years, 8 months ago

My brother recently handed me a very old IBM Thinkpad to do with as I wish. I was hoping to install a version Linux on it so that I can learn about the OS. The system may be too old. It is a 486 25MHz PC with 20MB of RAM and a 1.5 GB Hard disk. Is this feasable? Any recommendations on OS vendor and/or version?
