Hello everyone,
We have a 1 MB leased line (through Wireless Media). As a single user connected to the router, when I tried downloading files from different sites, using wget under Linux,the maximum download rate I got was 170 KByte/s 17% out of the 1 MB. Is this what I should be expecting from a leased line or should I get higher rates? Are there any factors that I should consider to make sure I get the maximum performance out of this connection?
