Lenovo notebook service

by gigelul . Updated 19 years, 7 months ago

Hi,

Because of a bad electrical connection (220V), a notebook was damaged when it was connected to a video projector.
The notebook still works without using a power supply, until the battery is discharged.
The problem is that I cannot charge the battery or use the notebook connected to a power supply.

I want to remove the battery and connect a power cord (not ~220V! but use its power supply) directly inside to the notebook.
The notebook is an IBM ThinkPad T42 (Lenovo).

I need to know your opinion or some technical details (connector signals, voltage, etc.) about this.

Thank you,
Florinel
