I have a Lenovo 3000 N200 of which the operating system became corrupt.
Thankfully, supposedly, Lenovo has bestowed upon all those who owns one of theire systems, Rescue and Recovery.
The problem that i face however is that i cannot back the files up to my external HDD.
I start the computer up with the USB HDD attached, if you dont, it wont recognize the device. Then i boot into rescue and recovery, either F11 or F12 if you have a rescue and recovery disk in your CD-ROM. Once that has initialized, i select to rescue some files. I have a total of 64GB worth of data and a 250GiB external HDD. Rescue and recovery sees the external device because it displays the label but when itry to back up, it says there is no space available on the drive. I know the drive is empty be cause i used Windows XP Pro to format the drive just yesterday.
Neither the Simplified nor the advanced interface works.
Any Ideas??
