I’ve been out of touch for a few weeks, but as I’ve browsed around the past couple of days, I’ve seen a lot of threads with people complaining of the new site and considering dropping out or moving somewhere else. Please don’t do it!
The nature of the business we’re in means that we need to be subject to constant change and new learning. While many are not happy with navigating around the new TR, I don’t think we’d all get back together at any other site, and even if we did, I doubt the PTB could be more responsive to the desires of it’s members than this lot is.
I’ve read that they’re planning to revamp the My Discussions page and they’re still working on getting something to replace the Tech Q&A and TechPoints.
It looks like some are gone for good. I haven’t heard from Sleepin Dawg for months. ITGirli, CuteElf, Max, jck, Starrgazer, et al are MIA or participating at a reduced level and the site’s worse off for it. Don’t walk out and make it worse.
Let’s all stick it out for a while and give the place a chance to iron out the wrinkles. OK??
