I am currently creating Images of windows 2000 using drive image pro, The Win2k disk that i used to create this image had its own unique cd key which generates its own numerical value in the regestry in HK_LM\software\microsoft\WindowsNT\current version\productid
Now when i restore that image all the PCs will have the same Licence number in the registry, but each machine has its own licence attached to the side of the PC and i have a log of each licence with the tag number of the PC it is on
is there any way in which i can change the value in the regitry or do you think that, i am covered licence wise without having to change the registry?
