License Logging Services
Never noticed this before because never needed to add/remove licenses to/from a Server.
I've done a default instalation of Windows Server 2003, installing and configuring just Active Directory / DNS and File Server roles.
Then I've tried to add more CALs (per Server model). Windows keeps saying "License Logging Service is not running on target machine".
I've tried to reinstall the OS from scratch and checked for the ability to add/delete licenses before and then after installing A
Checked in MS site and found there I should use AD Sites and Services to point to the correct PDC, which I did, with the same results (Change Licensing Site Settings under Default-First-Site-Name.
The point is there is no LLS (license logging service) installed. What do I have to do to solve this?
Thanks
