Limit users home base directory

It would be nice to limit users home base directory, so they would not exceed a certain amount of storage place space on the servers.

Depending on the operating system in question you can limit the space in a number of ways. NT and UNIX require some configuration of you're own or a third party product. Windows 2000 has disk quota functionality that you can use for this purpose.

Quota Manager for NT

In the case of needing to Quota NT DASD, NTP's Quota Manager does a bangup job on managing user's home dirs.

AS/400 Security Administrator can do this with the User Profile.
