Limiting Internet usage

By itdept ·
I would like to limit an Internet session to a 30 min window from the time a user logs on. Is this possible with Windows XP Pro settings in a Win 2003 server enviroment using ISA 2004 or is there a 3rd party app available.

Either
1) a proxy server like WinProxy or Rhinosoft Allegro surf

2)personal firewall, like F-secure,

3) Specific time-limit package like Akrontech 'Enuff'.

At home I use F-secure, Enuff, and AllegroSurf

Enuff is the best one for kids, since it can time-control both internet access as well as overall computer usage.

F-secure works OK, but will only work with Internet Explorer.

A proxy such as AllegroSurf is more involved, but it gives you much more control, logging, etc.
