I am working with a client who is linking Excel tables in an Access database. No matter how we format the data in Excel, the data types seem to be corrupted when viewed in Access. Phone numbers, zip codes and dates may come over with #Num or other errors. I have tried formatting each field correctly, and formatting the zip field as text. (some zips are 5 digits and some contain zip + 4) There are always errors. Any ideas?
