Linking NT network to Mac one

By rhiegen ·
Dear Friends,

I have a WinNT 4.5 network composed by one PDC , one BDC both NT 4.5 and one member server Win2k Svr. The client computers are all Win2k pro and/or Win Millenium and some are Macs G4 and G3. Now I need to connect my Macs to the network so users can from one Mac fetch files from a UAM Volume in my PDC or/and from any other Mac computer in the network. How can I do it. I were able to share my internet connection from PDC with the Macs and already I've created a Mac Volume in my PDC. Whatelse is missing?

Thanks,

Paulo

File Services for Machintosh. You need this running on your PDC.
And I believe you need to set up the AppleTalk protocol to run on the PDC also.

I've already installed the services for Mac, created the Microsoft UAM Volumein the NT 4.5 and configured Appleshare in the Mac G4. However I'm not able to see the Network Envirorment for Macs in my Windows Explorer and even the printers in my PC's. Should I have to configure anything else in my Win2k pro stations so they can be viewed by Mac G4?
