Help......
trying to create a link (using Word 2k) to an Outlook 2000 resource (conference room)mailbox item (calendar) to put on our Intranet. Have investigated microsoft's docs: Q182642, Q281350, Q192877, etc. Having difficulties getting the link to work....

Public folders are not an option....(smile)

any help greatly appreciated

One way is to drag the Calendar folder to the desktop to create a link file, then email that to everyone or put it in a public folder. I've posted some detailed instructions at http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ollinks.htm#team. There are some other ideas on that page as well.

Sue,

I went out to the slipstick website earlier this week and tried what you suggested in your response. It works but you must have outlook open already or it won't work at all and receive errors or prompted to open Outlook. any ideas? i am using public folders as well because the link is easy to create but like the website and you suggest - the resource under a public folder doesn't respond and the resource can be double booked.

help....

thanks,
Lori
