Links in emails send from word

Hi,

I send a word doc directly from word, using the command “send to”. The document contains links to bookmarks I placed within that document. When I open this email in my Outlook inbox, I see the doc just fine, but the links don’t work.
Does anyone know how to solve this?

Alternatively, I could also write the document in HTML with Front Page, but the problem there is that it doesn’t show in outlook: it arrives as an attachment instead. Does anyone know how to setup outlook so it does support HTML mail.
All my software are 2003 versions
