Linksys Router and Checkpoint Firewall

By pdennard ·
I have recently installed a LinkSys 4 Port Cable/DSL router at home. I have not been able to configure the router settings so I can VPN into corporate network. We are using a checkpoint firewall at work and a SecuRemote client. LinkSys firmware v. 1.38.5. SecuRemote v. 4. Anyone know what I need to do???? HELP!!!!

First you will need to set a Static IP address on your PC. Next you will need to which ports are used by the VPN. Then setup the routert using the Port Forwarding feature to forward these ports to your IP address. If this is not sucessful you canuse the DMZ feature to direct all traffic to your IP address. Note the DMZ will remove the firewall features of the router.

A little help here, you can't configure the Linksys? The router that the cable-companies configure and lock you out of? There's your answer....Otherwise please be more specific at where the failure lies...
