I recently purchased the Linksys EtherFast four-port cable/DSL router to share out my @Home cable internet connection. It works perfectly with one nagging exception. I connect to an outside Micrsoft Exchange Server 5.5, and it seems that the new mail notification packets from the server are not reaching my computer. As a result, the only way I see new mail is if I do something that sends a request to the server, such as accessing a different email or folder. I’ve tried configuring the router with port forwarding as well as designating my computer as a DMZ host, but neither has solved the problem. Can someone tell me what I might be doing wrong? Or does anyone know if there is a router which specifically supports connecting to a Micrsoft Exchange Server 5.5? Thanks!
