Linux is installed in my computer. i want to format the linux and to install the NT server on it. but when i delete the partition it is not deleting. and when i format the hard disk and try to reboot again from hard disk it starts from LILO boot i.e, LINUX.... plz help what should i do?

You need to remove LILO from the MBR. Try booting up with a DOS disk containing FDISK and type FDISK /MBR. This should do the trick.

Linux does not require much hardware.
Consider a second used PC.
