linux and windows

Is there a type of linux that can be run at the same time as windows?
and is there a way to run a good version of linux like redhat linux and windows at the same time?

Dual OS, heck you can put 20 different os on a pc no problem, but you can not run them simultaneously. You can use a program such as boot magic to properly open the initial OS, but that's it.

Only other way is dual pc's with a KVM switch. good luck

Another possibility is using Linux's Wine software to run Windows Programs.

You can run cygwin within Windows (this is very close to running a Linux within Windows). Also, you could use VMWARE to run Linux within Windows or vice versa.

I think vmware is what you are looking for...

You'll need a powerful system with a LOT of ram.
