Linux certification

By greptoforget ·
Where do I find an inexpensive way to obtain Linux certification, either web based or via correspondance? I am the sole IT support at my company and do not have the time to study on a full time basis. Besides which courses are hugely expensive where I am! And I have to foot the bill myself.

to gain the knowledge

by Jaqui In reply to Linux certification

simple, read the system adim and networking guides here:

for the paper to collect dust,
if red hat systems, go to local bookstore and buy the study guides for RHCSE/RHCNE
then you only have to spend a hundred or so.
the test is another hundred.

for general cert, depends on location.
some are only available if you are in USA, and you have to go to them for the test.

tldp's guides have the knowledge, even if it is outdated a bit, the foundation is the same, it's only minor changes in the tools used.
