Linux dialup box losers DNS settings …

by vypre . Updated 25 years, 1 month ago

I have a linux Red Hat 7.0 system controlling my dial up connection for my perminant internet connection.

All is well except when I restart the connection (the modem that is) the contents of the /etc/resolve.conf file changes to it’s original settings (so in effect the DNS IPs change).

Does anyone have an idea as to why this is happening?

Thanks,

Justin
