Linux Firewall

By faradhi ·
I want to put together a firewall for a Non Profit that does not have the funds for a firewall appliance. What would you suggest?

ipcop?? smoothwall? or another?

Why or why not a particular option?

Endian Firewall

I would suggest Endian Firewall. It is free, robust, and has content filtering as well.
You wont need a second appliance or software to keep those bad sites blocked. I use this at home and for several clients. I currently have it running on a Shuttle PC. 800MHZ~ 512 ram, 30 gig hdd and dual nics. Runs great!!
Full web based gui for ease of administration.
