There may be... but it depends on the manufacturer of this scanner and whether or not they post drivers for this model of scanner that you have on their website. Check the manufacturer's website for drivers first.

Otherwise you may have to go to www.driverguide.com (login=drivers ; password=all) or any site that may have what you are looking for:

http://www.driverzone.com/
http://www.driverpit.com/
http://www.drivershq.com/
http://www.driversplanet.com/http://www.totallydrivers.com/
http://www.windrivers.com/

good luck.

You really need software at least to use it
first check control pannel see if 98 see's it
(under settings, control pannel, system, hardware, device manager,) you should see the scanner or see a <? other devices> then a scanner or a unknown device.if it is under a ? mark you need driver's. If it listed the scanner 98 had the driver's.
If you look for the manufacture on the net. They
should have your drivers on line and the software
that came with it. Maybe a upgrade to
last chance (older models) web sites like
www.driverguide.com

hope this helps

I don't believe that Windows has any built-in twain drivers.
As soulrider suggested, you are best off going to the mfg website and downloading the drivers.

If you are having trouble finding the Mfg web site, or the drivers for your model, go to www.driverguide.com to find links to the mfg web site, or drivers that other users have posted.

You also need a program that will import the images from the scanner. Most image editors have scanner import capabilities once you have the scanner driver installed.
