Check this link:

http://www.petri.co.il/forgot_administrator_password.htm

I recommend option 1, Offline Password Editor.

Go to User Accounts in Control Panel and click on Administrator the Domain should be your computer name, then at the bottom select reset Administrator password, thats if you are a adminstrative user. try it, it should work.

The above answer may work. You don't have to be using the Administrator logon to have been assigned administrator rights. Your local user account may have been assigned these rights. I would try resetting the administrator password before anything else. If not, you will need a utility to **** away the admin password

Go to Winternals and download the Emergency version of ERD
commander:

http://www.winternals.com/products/repairandrecovery/
erdcommander2002.asp?pid=erd

You will need to create a CD with it to boot the machine. It will
load an XP interface. Use the Locksmith utility to reset the
password.
