Local Security Policies (auto log-off)

By kmk130 ·
running two pc's, both win2000. I have enabled the "Automatically log off users when logon time expires (local)" setting, and set the "Amount of idle time required" to 15 minutes. Neither PC is logging the user off at the specified time. Neither pc is connected to a domain or server. They are connected to the network by workgroup only. Anyone know why this is not working???

I think that that setting is for terminal service connections, I could not get it to work, there is a screen saver utility that will do the same thing. it's called winexit.scr (you need to search for it) it works good, i set up a gpo to enable it.
