local user creation on all the machine

i want to create local user in all the machine running winxp and i am having windows 2000 serv, can it is possible to create local user from windows 2000 machine( all the machine connected to NT domain Controller)

Hi,
Local accounts can be created using the 'net user' command on a local machine - for full useage instructions open a command prompt and type 'net help user' (without the quotes). The real issue is how to run this on all of your machines, for which I would suggest a batch file. If you are using group policy you could run the batch file as a startup script, if no GP then you can vopy the batch file to each machine and schedule a job via the AT command to run it. You can also probably use vb script or wmi to add users from the server, I've never had to do this so can't advise further on that route, but it might be worth trawling the web for script samples
