I paid for and installed Lock PC Pro and apparently a program called snap1 installed with it which my Norton anti virus identified as a dangerous virus and removed. What was it??

try reconfiguring your av program.

you probably should research the program on the internet. but sometimes, good programs are mistaken to be dangerous by av programs.

for example, if the program locks your registry hive in order to protect it, the av program may see it as a threat or virus that has taken over the registry hive. in which case, you need to configure the av program to exempt them.

so you should do a little homework by looking up that software, contacting their support people or contacting the tech that you paid to install it.

you might also ask the av people and see if they know why it would zap that program. also, look up sites listing badware, to see if there is any info as well.
