Lockdown Desktop

By nh ·
Hi all,

This is more of a nuisance than a real problem. In my work of tech support, I travel around to different companies. At times, I need to get access to my office desktop from my client's PC, so I use Remote Desktop (RDP) to log in. This works great and it serves its purpose fantastically.

The problem is that when I happen to be on a machine whose screen settings are smaller than mine. When I connect to my desktop, all my icons get rearranged to fit the smaller screen. I have tried to lock it down, but don't seem to be able to disallow any changes to the desktop.

Is there a way to lock it down unless I set a switch or reset permissions?
