LOCKING DESKTOP

I run a windows 2k advanced server os. I have specifically arrangend the icons and selected a backround suiting my taste. I do not want anybody else to change the desktop settings. How do I prevent others from commiting any change in my absence though this machine needs to be used by others sparingly.
