Locking down PC

By GJ2008 ·
Does anyone what the differences are in locking down a Windows XP and Windows 2000 Pro PC? We're using Windows 2000 Pro and will be switching over to XP soon - I was wondering what the main differences in terms of locking down and security there were?

Same platform, just more whistles in XP.

Xp is more generic in all it's security as far as 2000. 2000 is built on NT which has a much more secure access right feature and what not. But as far as group policies and the such, they are basically equal.
