Lockout on user's accounts

By semery ·
When remote or dialin users access MS Outlook they are locked out of the Network after one try even though the Lockout setting is set to 3 tries. When the Lockout setting is taken off users have no difficulty in accessing their e-mail. Using NT 4.0 as Domain Controller.

well, this isn't my area but that never stops me (wince)...i guess i would check Control Panel/Mail and look at the exchange settings on a problematic computer...turn off all the disconnect timeouts and disconect when finished type stuff...but since you can fix it by turning off lockout, maybe i am barking up wrong tree. could outlook be trying 3 times without you knowing it? is dial up set to use NT authentication?
