Considering all the “How TO” s that have come from Tech Republic, this one ought to be a piece of cake. I have two computers, both running XP Pro. On One, when I reboot, the computer will go into windows without any log-on, but the second computer has recently developed a nasty habit of forcing me to hit the enter key when my name comes up to log in. I am the only user and I know who I am, so I want this errant computer to just get on and start without my interference. Can you give me an infallible “step by step” to rid me of the problem. I am the administrator of my own computers, and I am very familiar with editing the registry, so fire away!!
