Good Day,

I'm trying to reset a domain contoller. When I go to logon a message comes up, "The local policy of this system does not permit you to logon interactively. Please help. Thank you

You have to login with an account (admin) that allows local login. If you've somehow managed to lock that out, you'll need to login as an admin somewhere else and under Usermanager, policies, allow local login to the server.

Assuming that your the newly appointed server administrator on an NT box and the Administrators password is lost. I recomend Winternals cool tool taht will allow you to recover the administrators password on the box.
Otherwise You should have your local admin setup your account.
