Logbooks full – Server reboots

Anytime the logbooks are full, my win2000 server crashes and reboots. I have deleted the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\CrashOnAuditFail as DWORD and with value 1 in the registry, but the same thing happens…
Does anyone know how to resolve this problem?
