My network has Novell 3.12 servers ,workstations are win95/98 & they interact with the sever through the Novell Client. My problem is whenever i try to connect to internet throgh Dial up networking i get a message "YOU ARE CURRENTLY USING NETWARE SERVERS WHICH WILL BE INACCESSIBLE IF YOU ESTABLISH THIS CONNECTION.CLICK OK TO CONTINUE DIALING OR CANCEL.how do i overcome this problem?

http://support.novell.com/forums/2nw.html This is the link to novell's forums and if you go to the discontinued products section you will find info on netware 3.12.

For your particular problem remove the IPX protocol from the Dialup connection in network properties. And in the forums they mention a checkbox in the dialup properties to log into the network that should be unchecked.

You might also try updating to the latest Novell client software. I think this may have been resolved in the client a quite few revs back
